Painting with Light and a Digital BrushMy passion is photographing the images used to create my Fine Art Photography. People often call may photographs "Painterly". My images portray a unique sense of composition, combined with an understanding of exposure and natural light. The camera and computer are my creative tools. Through years of practice and patience I have developed my own extraordinary style. Photography has always been part of my life, and since moving to Florida's First Coast, it has become my passion. I was born in the Capital city of the "Show Me" state, Jefferson City, Missouri. After graduating from college I began a ten year career in advertising sales. The experience gained there enhanced my sense of composition and color. My husband and I love to travel. Spain has been one of our favorite destinations for years. My portfolio includes photographs from across Spain, including St. Augustine's sister city... Aviles. I am the owner/director of Georgia Nick Gallery, 11A Aviles Street in historic downtown St. Augustine, Florida. My memberships include President, of the Aviles Street Merchant's Association, member of the Jacksonville Professional Photographers Group, and the St. Johns Cultural Council |
